  DPD UK - Collections

  For postcodes in our TG Courier collection zones, our drivers will collect your parcel.

  Otherwise, DPD will collect.

  DPD UK - Time-Definite & Saturday Services

  For our DPD Saturday, 10.30am and 12pm services, DPD collect from our depot. This means you have a few different options to choose from when it comes to dropping off your parcel or having it collected from your door.

  Collections from your door

  Collections from your door are arranged by Transglobal Express, with a choice of carriers. In some areas of London, North West England and the East Midlands, we will collect your parcels ourselves - at no extra cost to you.

  If you are booking a non-Transglobal collection, please add 1 working day to the estimated transit time to allow for overnight delivery to our depot.

  Drop-offs

  You can also drop off at one of our depots (or partner shops - see full list), or choose one of hundreds of DPD drop-off or UPS Access Point™ locations nationwide.

  Labelling

  If booking a collection, unless we are collecting your parcel ourselves, your shipping labels will show our depot as the destination address.

  Once your shipment arrives at our depot, we'll process it, relabel if required and send it on to its final address.

  Saturday bookings

  For Saturday delivery, if using Transglobal collection, your parcel must be collected on Friday. Drop-offs at our depot must be made on Friday by 3pm. For all other options, it must be collected or dropped off on Thursday. DPD may not hold parcels for Saturday delivery if they are collected earlier in the week.

  For some destinations, shipments valued up to €150 require IOSS registration and you will need to provide an IOSS number. Please refer to the table below.

  Shipments sent without IOSS registration where it is required will be returned to sender.

  DPD Classic - Shipments to Scandinavia

  Parcels to Sweden and Finland will be delivered to DPD Pickup Shops local to your delivery address.

  For parcels to Denmark and Norway, only one attempt will be made to deliver to the recipient's address. If unsuccessful, the parcel will be made available to collect at a local Pickup Shop the following day.

Size & Weight Restrictions

• Max. weight: 30kg per piece
• Max. longest side: 100cm (UK), 120cm (EU)
• Max. 2nd longest side: 76cm
• Max. girth: 300cm - how girth is calculated
• For drop-offs at DPD Pickup locations - max. weight: 20kg; max. length: 50cm

Prohibited & Restricted Items

• Personal effects, liquids, jewellery and watches are all prohibited for this service
• This service cannot be used for returns or repairs
• Products of iron and steel must not contain Russian basic products and consignees (importers) must be able to provide proof upon request - please include this declaration (.docx file) with your shipment
• DPD are unable to deliver to Amazon warehouses for international shipments

Packaging Requirements

• Items should be packaged in cardboard boxes, not only in jiffy bags, bubblewrap, etc
• Pallets and wooden crates/boxes are not accepted
• Suitcases are not accepted
• Refer to our packaging guidance for further information

DPD Predict

• DPD Predict is available for some destinations, with delivery notifications and options for redelivery. More info.

  DPD Predict

  The DPD Predict service is available for some destinations. If the recipient's mobile number is provided when the booking is made, DPD will text them to announce a one-hour delivery window (e.g. 10am-11am). They will also receive an email.

  Nobody at home? They can change the delivery day, re-route the parcel to the nearest DPD Pickup shop, or arrange to have it left in a safe place or with a neighbour.
